Me, Myself & I

Today is the last day of the long weekend of almost everybody. We have all been enjoying the long weekends since last week, first because of the commemoration of Ninoy Aquino's Death Anniversary, and second is the National Heroes' Day.

Two long weekends..Too different from each other..

Just last week, I was crying hard and was really feeling so down. Funny as it may seems, but I simply just couldn't understand everything going on and might as well myself. I kept on feeding my mind with the upcoming lessons in Accounting, but I understand nothing. I kept on reading and reviewing for the Business Finance Midterms exam, yet, I remember nothing. There on my table, with all my books and pens, I burst out. I really felt pressured and stressed that day and it seemed like the world was turning upside down for me. I knew I was never like that before. Then, I asked myself, "What the heck's going on with me?! I never used to be so damned like this! Where's the Miel I used to know?!!" These questions rounded my disoriented mind that night until I fell asleep.

But now, I'm totally different. I feel good and alighted. Maybe, I get too emotional sometimes. Who cares? Everybody do get emotional too! Even the president, doesn't she?? I'm a girl with a strong personality but I also get weak. I'm not Supergirl nor a Powerpuff girl. The least, I come to understand my lessons and I am ready for the midterms this week. For heaven's sake! I wish we'd be done with it. Thank God He's always there for me and never left me. =D

Anyway, there are too many reasons for me to be happy these days and one of those resaons is the Ateneo Blue Eagles. Yup, yup! They won last thursday against the UE Red Warriors and just yesterday (Aug. 24), with the UP Fighting Maroons. Boy, am I so glad to see them play very well yesterday compared to their game last thursday! Such a joy to see them back on their selves again. They are very fortunate to have their captain ball.

Speaking of the captain, he's also one the reasons on why I am so inspired these past days. Yes, Christopher John Alandy Tiu, or whom many knew as Chris Tiu, is the one who keeps me going on this road. Crazy as it may sounds, I don't give a damn. Though I know that he doesn't have the slightest clue that I exists, I keep on praying that may the time will come that our paths will cross each other's.

Boy, oh boy! Life is indeed too mysterious to solve. but no matter what happens, there are still always TOO many things to be thankful of. So, live, love and have fun!

First...

And for the record, I have my blog spot on this site. This would be my first entry.

I am Miel Bianca Kristelle Rosalinas, 17, from Taguig. Friends and classmates usually call me either Miel or Yhelli (considerable since I am gifted with such a long name. => )

Today is my cousin's birthday and before sitting in front of this computer, I was really tired from cooking. He asked me to cook spaghetti for him. Well, as a matter of fact, most of the time I am the one who cooks spaghetti. They love it!

Actually, I was watching the UAAP a while ago. When I left house, it was already the second half between DLSU Green Archers and FEU Tamaraws. Now if you're gonna ask me on which team do I support, it be "NONE OF THE ABOVE"! hehe. I am an ADMU Blue Eagles fanatic. A BIG fan of them! I love CHRIS TIU. I swear. Well, my mythical five in the Eagles are:

  1. Chris Tiu #17
  2. Jai Reyes #5
  3. Rabeh Al Husseini #19
  4. Eric Salamat #11
  5. Ryan Buenafe #13

Last Thursday, I was with two of my good college classmates, Ron and Alvin. We watched Ateneo's 11th fight which was against UE Red Warriors by then. And what more can I say, except for that it was the best game I've seen Ateneo played! Honestly, I was already feeling bad that it might be their 2nd lose for the season, but, still I kept my faith strong and prayed hard that they conquer the match.
My TIUperman gave the most breathtaking shoot of all. It was only seconds on the fourth quarter and the Warroirs are on the lead with the score 47-50. Luckily, the Eagles were able to stole the ball. Chris was driving the ball and I, with all of the Ateneo team, were holding our breaths for he was on the 3point line and was about to give it a bang. And, he made it! That's why an overtime was called. The game ended in the Blue Eagles glory scoring 60-57.

After that, we saw LA Tenorio or Alaska Aces and my friends were very happy for they are big fans of him. They took pictures with him and asked for his autograph! Of course, I didn't let go of the chance to wait for the Blue Eagles at the south gate of Araneta. Gosh! I never thought that that day would even come in my life! I ahd their pictures and autograph. BUT, I really felt incomplete because Chris was missing. I understand it though on why he wasn't able to show up. he got injured during the last seconds of the game and cannot walk after it. Hope he's ok by this time and I really wanna come up to him face to face. I love him. Good thing I had good pictures with Jai Reyes though. =)

Now, I am totally excited to watch their last game for the 2nd round of the UAAP Season 71 which would be against DLSU Green Archers. And that, for sure, will be a very good match!

I hope Chris could read this blog....Till next blog!
